While we continue to look for just
the right person to replace Rebecca as
Sponsorship Coordinator, please di-
rect questions regarding Glory Center
to Vicki Kritzell, Director of our Spon-
sorship Department.

It can be confusing
at times,
with a ministry of volunteers such as
this, to know where to direct your ques-
tion or send your donation. Once you
have done your best to locate the cor-
rect person, don’t worry. Each of our
volunteers is happy to work with you
and to steer you in the right direction.
Without your understanding and partic-
ipation, this work could not go forward.
On behalf of our staff here in USA and
in Africa, and on behalf of the children
and widows who are being helped,
Thank you! And God bless you!
FROM OUR MAILBAG:
I read most of the current Spotlight
this weekend and was moved to tears
many times. My goodness, what an un-
dertaking they have done and what
great things God has done to make
sure everything continues to run as
smooth as it does.
Well, I would like to sponsor one
child to begin with, and then go from
there as the Lord leads. Please let me
know the particulars about the child that
is picked and I would love to participate
in that child’s life as much as is possible
from half-way around the world!
I am so excited to be a part of this
operation—what I really like a lot is the
fact that there are no middlemen in-
volved and it’s not just throwing money
at an organization and hoping it gets to
a child, but knowing that the money is
going directly to a child is so wonder-
ful… God bless you all with His richest
measure of grace and glory!

I extend to you all greetings. Thanks
for your Spotlight on Orphans.Iamvery
pleased to read of the continued success
of the work that you are doing in Africa.
This last magazine, as you looked back
from the start when you took full control
and where you have got to now… It’s a
blessing to read of the not only one, but
several homes and the great
achievement.

Thank you for the quick response. I
have been doing a few hours a day at
work (praise the Lord!) as my ankle is
healing miraculously well! The doctor
told me originally that I would be in my
first cast for six months and then an-
other three months in a walking cast. I
told the Lord that wouldn’t work for me,
since my husband has had recent back
surgery and will need more soon. I
asked for a miracle and He gave me
one! The Lord is so good and He never
fails us!
Thanks, too, for the update on the
little ones dropped off at the orphanage.
Yes, the stories are just horrible, but
somehow Pastor Maurice trudges on,
and his reward will be great! I want to
send some money ASAP so that the
transition can be made as easy as pos-
sible for the new little ones.
Thank you, too, Vicki, for the work
you do for these little children and for the
pastors there. God is doing a great work
in your life, and He will richly bless you
for loving others and doing what you
can for them.

This is for the widows, orphans and
needy ones in Africa from Youth With a
Heart. God bless you and the work being
done in Uganda Africa, richly.
California
Thank you so much for your news-
letters. I really enjoy them. I was sad-
dened by the news of the death of so
many precious children. Hopefully this
check will help. Please use it where it is
most needed and will be of greatest
benefit.

I am writing to let you know that I
will no longer be able to donate to the
Spotlight on Orphans organization…
After having offered up much prayer on
the matter, and having turned a corner
in my life, I will have my 96th birthday in
August, and I feel it is time to cut back
on my charitable giving at this time. The
ever rising cost of living expenses cou-
pled with my meager monthly income
make it prudent for me to step back and
let someone else take on the responsi-
bility. Thank you for the opportunity to
be able to help out in my own small
way.

[Thank you for the help you have
given. Our God will reward you.

We would like to contribute to your
orphanage ministry. You seem to have a
very direct channel to get help to these
children without a lot of overhead cost.
What is the best way to do this? In the
midst of all this craziness, we seek to find
ways to help some and, as we say in our
church, “reproduce the likeness of Jesus
in our world.”… Let us know how to help
these children.

I am sitting here in front of a plate of
plain spaghetti noodles with salt on
them. These folks here in the nursing
home do not understand about my diet
(vegetarian). I have been in the hospital
with pneumonia, and expect to be here
about one more week before they send
me home. I was waiting for some mail
since I do not have my addresses with
me, so please send this check for my
sponsor fee and the extra for the 31 little
ones. Please pray for me and ask others
to do so as well. The Lord will do with this
old body as He sees fit.

[We are asking all of you to pray for
Madonna Wilson, our oldest child spon-
sor at 95. We believe she has much
work to do before she rests!

I am writing to inform you that I got
an opportunity to visit home as I was
going to register for the National Iden-
tity Card [ID]. Before I left I requested
Pastor Maurice to give me something
to take for them and I was pleased for
he gave me a sack of maize and 30kg
of beans to take for them! [His mother
and siblings.]
When I reached I felt good and
thanked God for the miracle for they
had gone for two days taking only por-
ridge. Actually, I thank God also for that
and I have sent it well to share this hap-
piness with you! For this month I am
sure that they will eat.
I do think of them so much since my
siblings are young and I do imagine how
someone feels when going without
food. Be praying for them, God to give
them His guidance and care for them. I
will be traveling back to the Center on
Sunday. Pass my greetings to the entire
family. I love them all.
Kenya
It’s so difficult to imagine the extent
of starvation due to the drought in
Kenya. So this money is intended to
help feed children in Kenya. It seems
like a “drop in the bucket,” but with
enough “drops,” children’s lives will be
saved.
Colorado
I’m anxious to get the Spotlight on
Orphans each month. My heart is bro-
ken to hear about all the starving chil-
dren. I pray daily that the Lord will come
soon to put an end to all the suffering…
May God bless each one that is making
it possible for the orphan children to
have a home.
