FROM OUR MAILBAG:
I do not really want to get attached
to individual kids—I have done well in
my life and just want to give to a charity
which is doing really good work. Have
been leery of helping other charities
that I find spend most of their money on
their own salaries, and mailings. Also,
at this point in my life I am too busy to
get involved personally with anyone.
That may change when I can retire,
which will hopefully be in a few years.
Anyway, the point is just let me
know the name and address and the
amount I should send each month and I
will set it up with my bank. Someday,
when I am retired like I said, I hope to
go to Africa and maybe even visit the
sites you speak of. Until then, I will
have to limit my help to sending some
money.

I read most of the current Spotlight
this weekend and was moved to tears
many times. My goodness, what an un-
dertaking they have done and what
great things God has done to make
sure everything continues to run as
smooth as it does.
Well, I would like to sponsor one
child to begin with, and then go from
there as the Lord leads. Please let me
know the particulars about the child
that is picked and I would love to partic-
ipate in that child’s life as much as is
possible from half-way around the
world!
I am so excited to be a part of this
operation—what I really like a lot is the
fact that there are no middle men in-
volved and it’s not just throwing money
at an organization and hoping it gets to
a child, but knowing that the money is
going directly to a child is so wonderful.
You have my deepest admiration
for the absolutely beautiful work you
are doing. God bless you all with His
richest measure of grace and glory!

Greetings in Jesus’ name—I pray
you can see that designated donations
get to their destination. I’m sitting in a
hospital room today, Sabbath. I can
type more neatly than I can write by
hand.
Is it possible for you to give me
Pastor Maurice’s address. My friend
Jim, in the hospital bed, and myself,
had the wonderful privilege of meeting
Pastor Maurice along with Brother and
Sister McDaniel last summer when
they were making their trip around the
country. I promised to send a couple of
items to Pastor Maurice, which I have
yet to do.

[We avoid printing the addresses
for our projects in the newsletters due
to safety issues. Please contact the
Sponsorship Coordinator for the pro-
ject involved to obtain the address you
need.

Enclosed is a small check. Please
use for food or wherever best needed.
God bless this work.

This donation is to go for food for the
orphans there in Africa. Thanks for the
work you are doing. I am sure you are be-
ing blessed because of it.

I have every intention of continuing
to donate to this wonderful organiza-
tion that is doing such a wonderful
work. Thank you for the newsletters. I
really enjoy them, while they leave me
somewhat sad. It is just heartbreaking
what these innocent people are going
through. Keep up the good work—you
are an inspiration.

Please put this money wherever it is
needed. Possibly for extra food for the
hungry. We have been so richly blessed,
how could anyone not want to share
that? Thank you for your dedication to
these precious people.
Tennessee
Please send these tithes to Pastor
Moses to help with the children. If there
is more of a need with the other pastor,
you may divide the money as you think
best. I think about the ministry over
there all the time. I think about the dedi-
cation of the workers. I’m grateful for all
that the staff at Hearth to Hearth Minis-
tries do to keep this work together. I
thank God for the small part I can do to
help.

I am enclosing a check for $300 to
pay for one child’s clothes, food, and
housing for one year. We were told that
this would be enough. Please let us
know if this is correct. We are trying to
acquire another $300 to donate for an-
other child.
We have two daughters, one 12
and one almost 15. This is an incentive
for us to sponsor two children. We have
read your newsletter and have been
blessed. We are impressed with your
effort and concern for Christ’s blessed
orphans and widows. I wrote this check
several weeks ago, but it is somewhat
confusing with so many names and ad-
dresses of whom to mail to. We hope
this address will be adequate and fi-
nally just to mail it knowing that God will
see to it that it gets to where it needs to
be. [Yes, $300 is the correct amount for
one orphan per year. We are glad you
“just mailed it,” leaving God to get it to
the right treasurer.

With so many ministries and so
much need everywhere, I know for my-
self I was very slow to act to send
money for several years because I felt I
needed to be reassured that the money
gets to where it needs to be and then
properly distributed. Maybe in future
newsletters you can address this plainly
so if there are others willing like I was
but still hesitant they will not wait as long
as I did. [We hope our reformatting of
Page 11 will answer this need.

I understand we need to be cau-
tious and wise. Money is not easy to
come by these days—but also to have
faith God can and will provide a way in
the wilderness. God bless you all. You
are in our prayers.

Enclosed is our monthly support
for our little Jane Farah. We are adding
an extra $558 for general funds for the
building project at Glory Center. Our
Wonderful Heavenly Father, Jehovah
God, saved this money for us when it
was just as good as lost! Praise His
Holy Name!

The May issue of Spotlight on Or-
phans just makes your heart cry for all
the dear souls perishing/starving. Bless
your work and you.

Right now I am in the home of a
friend and am getting better, but really
not up to par yet. I am surprised that I
have gained a pound already in just
four days! I have been getting some re-
ally good food. I thought I was a done
goner at first, but I am bouncing back. I
must have more to learn in order to
wear the wedding garment at Jesus’
supper. I just lost my little brother two
weeks ago, he was 93. When it rains, it
pours, I’ve heard.

[Please drop an encouraging card
or letter to our dear friend, Madonna
Wilson, at 125 East Crabcreek, Tidewa-
ter, Oregon 97390. Madonna, is our old-
est, and one of the most loyal and giving
sponsors. She has handmade dozens
of dolls, which are tenderly loved by our
little orphans n Africa.
